What else you’ll need before you start:
• Double-sided adhesive pads (Glue can also be used)
• Single-fold cards, display globe cards or cardstock of your own choosing
• Die-Cutting Machine
• Optional: Peel off stickers
Step 1 – Making your globe scene
Start your card by picking your desired design from our compatible craft pads and cut out all elements on the sheet. Following the number order given, assemble your snow globe scene using double-sided adhesive pads.
Step 2 – Adding the display globe
Take your display globe and add double-sided tape to both sides of the outer rim. Before sticking it down on top of your assembled design, place a small heap of Polar White Flower Soft to the centre of your design ready for your display globe to seal it all in.
Step 3 – Making your card
Now it's time to make your card. You can use our 5x7 or 6x6 single-fold cards as a base for your snow globe design, or get creative and try our range of coloured & foiled card for something unique - just cut down to your desired size and fold in half.
Step 4 – Cutting out a space for the display globe
Step 5 – Draw out a guide for the die-cut decorative frame
Take a separate sheet of coloured card the same size as your folded card and place it behind your card front. Trace around the space you've just cut out onto the card below - this will give you a guide for where to place the next die, ensuring both pieces line up perfectly when you come to assemble later.
Step 6 – Cut out the frame with your die
Cut out the second layer of your card front using the main decorate frame die included in your set. Using the guide you've just made, tape down the die and cut.
Step 7 – Assembling your card
Now it's time to assemble! Start by unfolding your card and sticking it in place on top of your assembled globe (use our above video if you need some help). Next, glue down your cut-out card on top, this will give you the desired layer effect.
Step 8 – Finishing touches
Finish off your card by cutting out and adding the decorative elements included in your die set. We love the effect our Mirri card gives! For an optional step, add on extra embellishments with our peel-off stickers.
