Build the card base by popping out the background piece. Use foam pads or silicone glue to add your background elements. Leave space at the bottom for your gnome character.

Build up your chosen gnome by popping out all the pre-cut decoupage layers and stacking them with the included foam pads in the number order given. Attach your gnome to the large, tabbed support piece (A) provided to complete your card’s second layer.

Attach the second layer to the background scene. Fold along the pre-scored lines to create side panels and small tabs. Apply adhesive to the tabs ready for attaching to your background scene. Note: There is a small grey square on the tabs, this is the side you need to apply your glue to.

Centre the gnome to the background scene and stick into place. If you need to, create a guide by marking a line with a pencil before sticking into place.

Create the final layer by popping out the smaller tabbed support piece (B), front panel, and sentiment. Add embellishments to the front panel using foam pads. Attach the sentiment and then attach the front panel to the tabbed support piece. Fold along the pre-scored lines and apply glue to the tabs.

Using the methods seen in step 4, centre the front layer to the gnome layer and stick into place. Finally, attach any additonal snowflakes to the background to complete your card.
