Puppy Themed LIVE Card Making

You will need:

• Picnic Pups Complete Collection
• White Side Pop Up Cards & Envelopes
• Perfect Precision Double Sided Tape Pen
• Tacky Glue
• Adhesive Foam Pads
• Dark Green, Pale Green and Cream coloured card

STEP 1: MEASURING & CUTTING CARDSTOCK

Separate and fold the pieces of the White Side Pop Up Card using the die-cut and pre-scored lines as a guide. Use these pieces as reference when measuring and cutting the extra bits of coloured card.

For the main body of the card cut the following:
Front: 66 x 140mm (pale green card ), 60 x 133mm (green Tartan Picnic pups printed cardstock);
Inside side panel: 66 x 140mm (green Tartan Picnic pups printed cardstock), 60 x 132mm (pale green card);
Inside: 136 x 140mm (pale green card), 130 x 137 mm (right side of Picnic Pups Insert Papers showing paw print, or cream card).

For the pop-up card flap and supports cut the following:
Cut 3 pieces 66 x 30mm (pale green card);
Cut 2 pieces 65 x 17mm (cream card or paper scraps from Picnic Pups page inserts).

For the front topper cut 98 x 98 mm (dark green card).

STEP 2: ASSEMBLING THE MAIN CARD

Use the Perfect Precision Double Sided Tape Pen to stick the layers of cardstock into the card.

Stick the 60 x 140mm Tartan card to the inside side panel, and layer and stick the 60 x 132 mm pale green card on top.

Stick the 66 x 140mm pale green card to the large square inside of the card, and layer and stick the 130 x 137mm cream card on top.

Attach the pop out tab strip to the bottom of the main card by sticking the short side to the right hand side of the card, and the long side to the left hand side of the card.

Stick 2 of the 66 x 30mm pale green pieces of card to the 2 shorter panels on the right.

Attach the 66 x 140mm pale green card to the front left hand panel of the card, and then add the 60 x 133mm green Tartan Picnic pups printed cardstock on top.

Stick the 65 x 17mm cream card to the support tabs and then use some tacky glue to attach the supports.

TOP TIP: Tacky Glue allows you to reposition the placement of your card before committing to the final position.

STEP 3: ADD THE TOPPER & FINISHING TOUCHES

Position the 98 x 98 mm dark green card at an angle on the front of the card and lightly mark out the position with a pencil, so you know where to place the glue or tape.

Stick the dark green card, the Picnic Pups card topper and the 'Pawty Time' sentiment to the front of the card with tape or glue.

Stick the 'You deserve a treat' sentiment to the inside of the card, so that it’s hidden when the card is closed.

Add a few of the decoupage elements to the bottom right hand corner of the card.

TOP TIP: For added height and dimension, use Adhesive Foam Pads to attach the card topper and sentiments.

USE UP THE LEFTOVERS!

The remaining left half of the page insert, the 3D decoupage pieces and tartan card off-cuts can be used to make an additional card like the one here.
