Blooming Daffodils LIVE Crafting

You will need:

• Katy Sue Daffodils Silicone Mould
• Katy Sue MDF Tangled Circular Hoops
• Spring themed 3D decoupage
• Hearty Soft Air Drying Clay - white, yellow, orange, green
• Plain card for decoupage base
• Beads for flower centres
• PVA glue, and hot or thick glue
• Ribbon
• White paint, and Green paint or ink

STEP 1: Create fan veiners by casting 1x large and 1x small daffodil fan and leave to dry flat on some paper towel.

STEP 2: Create a cone with a half circle of card and some tape, to make cone to help shape the daffodil trumpets.

STEP 3: Using Hearty soft clay cast 4x small daffodil trumpet fans, and 4x large daffodil trumpet. While each fan is inside the mould, dust a little cornflour onto the fan veiner and press use it to add some texture to the back of each fan.

STEP 4: Use the paper cone, a little glue, and the tweezers to help shape each daffodil trumpet.

STEP 5: Leave these to dry on some paper towel. When dry create the Daffodil petals.

STEP 6: Mould two sets of petals for each daffodil, and layer these on top of each other. 2x small white daffodils. 1x large white daffodil 2x large pale yellow daffodils 2x small yellow daffodils 1x large yellow daffodil.

STEP 7: Add a little glue to the pointy end of each cone and press them into the centre of each set of petals.

STEP 8: Shape the petals and leave to dry.

STEP 9: Paint a primer layer of white paint onto each tangled hoop (spray or sponge onto each hoop) and leave to dry. Paint on a layer of green paint, or rub on green ink from a permanent ink pad.

STEP 10: Using a piece of white card and a pencil trace around the middle-sized hoop and cute out the shape. Attach the card to the back of the hoop with a little glue.

STEP 11: Tie the large and middle-sized hoop together with some ribbon.

STEP 12: Mould 4x small leaves using the petals shape on the mould, and glue these to the medium hoop.

STEP 13: Add the 2x small and 1x large white and yellow daffodils to the bottom of the hoop – use a thick dimensional glue to attach the daffodils, or glue a small ball of clay to the hoop and press the flowers into the clay to attach.

STEP 14: Mould 12x small leaves and glue these to the larger hoop. Then add the remaining 3x large daffodils and 2x small daffodils to the bottom of the large hoop.

STEP 15: Glue your chosen decoupage image to the card backing of the medium hoop.

STEP 16: Glue pearl beads or gems to the inside of each daffodil. Colour the tips of the daffodil trumpets with a dark yellow or light orange marker pen.

STEP 17: Finish off your wreath by attaching a bow to the top of the hoops and hang up to decorate your room or door.
